Looking Ahead to Canada's "Big" 3500 MHz Auction

April 12, 2019 – Canadian telecoms spent over $3.4 billion on 600 MHz spectrum in 2019, but the mid-band frequencies that ISED plans to auction next year may draw even more interest. Perspectives on What's Needed to Manage a Network

April 12, 2019 – At Hannover Messe 2019, Deutsche Telekom representatives shared their perspectives on 5G network management. While some companies may be tempted to build and manage their own networks, program executive Antje Williams cautioned that operators like DT can empower factories that require multiple bands to manage their processes. VP of 5G corporate customers Herbert Schüttler added that "one piece of high frequency won't cover it", touting DT’s management approach of combining private and public network layers.
