SaskTel announced Wednesday that it has started switching on its 5G network in Swift Current. The wireless network, which can reach download speeds of up to 1.2 Gigabits per second, is part of a $1.5 billion investment from the crown corporation that has recently announced expansions into rural parts of the province.
